I work as a Counsellor offering a private and confidential psychotherapy and counselling service in Leeds City Centre.

I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work according to their ethical framework and standards for professional conduct. I am qualified to work with both male and female clients over the age of 18.

I live in Leeds with my wife and two children and work from my consulting room in Leeds City centre where I have been in private practice for five years.

Previously, I worked in education as a Lecturer in psychology, mental health, research, professional practice within healthcare, health education and health promotion. In this role I also provide pastoral support to students who require help with personal issues.

Prior to working in private practice, I worked at the charity Leeds Counselling with clients who required help with a range of issues including; anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, relationship issues, anger, rage, shame,  trauma, abuse, redundancy, sexual issues and life transitions.

I have also worked in a number supportive roles within the charity and eduction sectors with clients/students from a range of cultural backgrounds with complex needs including; mental health, social, family, housing, alcohol and drug dependency, safeguarding from abuse, physical health and learning disabilities. I also have much experience of multi-disciplinary working with healthcare and other professionals.
